ATHLETICS: Fraser-Pryce confirmed for Jamaica International Invitational meet

Top female sprinter Jamaican Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has been revealed among a host of elite athletes set to compete at the Jamaica International Invitational, an IAAF World Challenge meeting.
The meet will take place on May 3 at the National Stadium.
Fraser-Pryce has not yet announced which event she will run in Kingston.
Other top female athletes confirmed for the meet are Olympic 200-metre champion Allyson Felix, double world medallist Blessing Okagbare, Olympic 400-metre champion Sanya Richards-Ross, world 100-metre hurdles champion Briana Rollins and world indoor 400-metre champion Francena McCorory.
Fraser-Pryce’s training partners Kaliese Spencer and Stephenie McPherson are also set to compete.
On the men’s side, world 400-metre champion LaShawn Merritt is one of the star attractions, along with world 200-metre bronze medallist Curtis Mitchell, 2012 world indoor silver medallist Nesta Carter and Nickel Ashmeade.
