Attempted firebombing at Amity Hall Police Station

WESTERN BUREAU:

There was an attempt to firebomb the Amity Hall Police Station in upper St James last night by unknown assailants.




The police confirmed that two bottle bombs were thrown on the verandah of the station, one ended up in a service vehicle.



However, there was no damage done to either.



No one was hurt in the incident.



Amity Hall is a quiet rural community with little or no crime.
