St Jago athlete Cavahn McKenzie to be buried Sunday

The government says it will be assisting with the expenses for the funeral for the late junior athlete and St Jago High School student, Cavahn McKenzie.



McKenzie died on February 22 while representing Jamaica at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association Cross Country Championships in Tobago.



The funeral will be held on Sunday at the Faith Apostolic Mount Zion Temple in Annotto Bay, St Mary commencing at 11 o’ clock.



Minister with Responsibility for Sports in the Office of the Prime Minister, Natalie Neita Headley, will represent the Government at the service.



The Office of the Prime Minister says the Government is assisting with the arrangements through the Sports Development Foundation.
