FOOTBALL: Waterhouse, Arnett Gardens in Monday Night showdown

The 2013-2014 Red Stripe Premier League Monday Night fixture continues today with Waterhouse hosting Arnett Gardens.




The match will take place at the Drewsland Stadium, beginning at 8:30 in the evening.



Waterhouse, who are third in the standings and six behind the leader, will try to stay in contention for the Premiership title.



A win for Waterhouse would push them on 42 points the same as second place Harbour View.



Arnett Gardens also need a win today to stay close to the leader.



Meanwhile, Montego Bay United remained three points atop the standings, following yesterday’s round of matches.



Montego Bay United stayed three points clear following an away 1-0 victory against Tivoli at the Edward Seaga Stadium.



And second place Harbour View, the defending champions, scored a 3-0 victory over Cavalier at the Harbour View Stadium.



In other matches yesterday, Boys’ Town and Sporting Central Academy played to a goalless draw, Humble Lion and Rivoli United battled to a 2-2 draw, while Portmore United edged bottom place August Town 1-0.
