One of the two men implicated in the shooting death of a 17-month-old child and another man in McIntyre Villa, Kingston, on Valentine’s Day has been charged.

The police say Damion Samuels has been charged with two counts of murder.

He is scheduled to appear in the Half-Way Tree Gun Court on Wednesday.

Samuels was pointed out during an identification parade yesterday.

He was taken into custody last Wednesday during police operations along Windward Road in East Kingston.

Another man, who was also listed as a person of interest in the shooting and who has been identified only as Weeble, is still on the run.

Seventeen-month-old Threjan Harvey and Demar Anthony McKenzie, also known as Biggs, were shot dead when gunmen opened fire on a street dance along Banana Street, in McIntyre Villa on February 14.
