A man has been taken into custody by the Yallahs Police in St Thomas for questioning in connection to the discovery of the body of a security guard yesterday.

The body of 35-year-old Melissa Duffus, who is of a Yallahs address in the parish, was found in bushes in Twelve Miles, Bull Bay about 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon.

She was employed to the Atlas Security company and was working in the Corporate Area when she was reported missing.

Detectives probing her death told the Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that a resident stumbled upon the body in bushes about 300 meters from the main road and summoned them.

They say the body had a large wound to the face.

The cause of death has not yet been determined.
