Personnel from the Area Three police and students of the Northern Caribbean University yesterday staged a peace march through the community of Juno Crescent in Clarendon.

The march was triggered by the flare up of violence in the community in recent months.

Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Area Three Derrick Knight had a one-on-one with some residents and encouraged them to go to the police when they have problems.

Senior Superintendent in charge of Clarendon Maurice Robinson urged the large turnout of residents who participated in the march to be proactive and work with the police to take back their community from criminals.

Residents were also treated to a therapy session as a problem solving mechanism.
