Published:Tuesday | March 25, 2014 | 10:09 AM

Defending champions Calabar and Holmwood Technical will begin the defence of their respective titles, as the five-day Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships begins at the National Stadium today.

Action starts at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with preliminary competition in 21 events.

Calabar who turned back the challenge of Jamaica College and Kingston College to win back-to-back titles last year is the big favourites to win the boys’ title again.

They are searching for their first three-peat since 1990 and their 24th hold on the coveted Mortimer Geddes Trophy.
