'Kern come back for him seat' - Shaw to Pryce

North East St Elizabeth Member of Parliament Raymond Pryce was today put on notice by a mischievous opposition member that he might have to vacate the seat he won in December 2011 to make way for the return of Kern Spencer.
"Raymond, Kern come back for him seat," Opposition MP Audley Shaw shouted during the sitting of the House of Representatives today.
Pryce was stoned-faced and would not be drawn into a response, even as some Opposition MPs chimed in, saying Pryce would not be the one facing the voters in the next election.
Spencer, after being elected to represent North East St Elizabeth in 2007, left Parliament under a cloud after he was charged with corruption and money laundering for his role in the implementation of the Cuban light bulb programme.
While he was a non-elected parliamentarian, Spencer served as junior minister in the energy ministry.
After being charged in 2008, senior Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey upheld a no-case submission by his defence attorneys, setting Spencer free.
