A senior motor vehicle examiner and two other men who were arrested by detectives attached to the Major Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Task Force on Friday have each been granted $300,000 bail.

The senior motor vehicle examiner is 58-year-old Howard Shloss, of Duhaney Park, Kingston 20.

The others are 60-year-old Earl Madden of Seaforth, St Thomas and 74-year-old Harold Hue of Church Corner, also in St Thomas.

The three men appeared before the Corporate Area Criminal Court yesterday.

Yesterday prosecutors revealed that several persons had come forward and admitted paying between $12,000 and $18,000 to have their driver’s licences processed at the Morant Bay Examination Depot in St Thomas.

Prosecutors alleged that Madden and Hue acted as the intermediaries who would refer the persons applying for a driver’s licence.
