Wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin says the West Indies will need to play smart cricket to defeat Sri Lanka in the semi-finals of the World Twenty20 tournament in Bangladesh.

Ramdin also says the top order has to fire.

The match is a re-match of the finals of the tournament which was held in Sri Lanka in 2012 and West Indies won.

The West Indies, Sri Lanka semi-final will take place tomorrow in Dhaka.

India meet South Africa in the second semi-final at the same venue on Friday.

West Indies qualified for the semi-finals following an 84-run victory over Pakistan in their final preliminary round game in Mirpur yesterday.
