FOOTBALL: Premier League resumes with two rescheduled games

Published:Thursday | April 3, 2014 | 3:08 PM

The 2013-2014 Red Stripe Premier League resumes today with two rescheduled games.

Defending champions Harbour View are among the teams taking the field and the 'Stars of the East' could regain the Premiership lead.

They will meet home team Arnett Gardens at the Anthony Spaulding Complex in a game scheduled to begin at 6 o'clock in the evening.

Harbour View enter the contest two points behind leaders Montego Bay United and victory would give them a one-point lead.

Arnett Gardens will remain in fourth place whatever the result is today.

However, they need a victory to widen the gap against fifth place Tivoli Gardens.

Only the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

In the other rescheduled game on today, bottom place August Town will host Waterhouse at the UWI Bowl, starting at 3:30 in the afternoon.
