NETBALL: Perfect scoring Under-16 Sunshine Girls set to win Jean Pierre title

Published:Saturday | April 12, 2014 | 9:34 AM

Jamaica’s young Sunshine Girls are well set to win the 2014 Jean Pierre Youth Under-16 netball title going into today’s final day of competition in Antigua.

Jamaica, the only team with a perfect record, will play their sixth and final game against St Vincent and the Grenadines at 5 p.m. Jamaica time.

The Sunshine Girls tighten their grip on the championship after they were declared winners against St Kitts last night.

The game was stopped in the second quarter as St Kitts defaulted due to injury.

At that stage Jamaica were well in control leading 15-3.

Second place Barbados will also be in action today.

They will play St Lucia, while Trinidad and Tobago face Dominica and hosts Antigua play Nevis.
