Police still searching for Richmond Farm prison escapee

The St Mary police are still searching for a prisoner who escaped from the Richmond Farm Adult Correctional Centre yesterday.



The Richmond Police say 32-year-old Tyrone Blake was among a group of inmates who were on the agricultural farm under the supervision of their staff officer, when he managed to escape.



The police say Blake, who also goes by the names Jermaine and Julian, was serving an 18 months sentence at hard labour for three counts of house breaking and larceny.



He is described as dark-skinned, of medium build, about 5’7” tall, sports a low cut hair style, has several upper teeth missing and has a scar on each forearm and is from Lauriston district, Spanish Town in St Catherine.



When last seen Blake was wearing a white T-shirt and khaki pants.
