306 road fatalities recorded in 2013

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

A total of 7,185 traffic crashes and 306 fatalities were recorded in 2013.




Figures in the 2013 Economic and Social Survey highlights that St Catherine, Westmoreland, Kingston and St Andrew, St Ann, Hanover and St James recorded the most fatalities.



Males accounted for the majority of road fatalities.



Excessive speeding was identified as the main cause of crashes
