Penn Relays: Jamaican teams for USA vs Rest of the World series

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania:

Michael Frater will lead Jamaica's men's 4x100m team in the 2014 Penn Relays USA vs Rest of the World series, inside the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field today.

The multiple sprint relay gold medal winner will be joined by former national champion Oshane Bailey, Jason Livermore and Rasheed Dwyer.

The Jamaicans will come against the United States (Charles Slimon, Justin Gatlin, Rakieem Salaam, Walter Dix), Qatar, Nigeria, China and Brazil. The men's 4x100m is set for 12:05pm.

In the women's 4x100m, set for 11:35pm, will feature Carrie Russell, Kerron Stewart, Anneisha McClaughlin and Thrisa-Ann Hawthorne. They are expected to challenge the American team, which will have Stacey-Ann Smith, Alexandria Anderson, Muna Lee and Lekeisha LAwson in their line-up.

Jamaica's men's 4x400m (1:52pm) team will call on Allodin Fothergill, Ricardo CHambers, Chumain Fitten, Jermaine Brown and Javere Bell while the women's 4x400m team, set for 1:35pm start in their race, will feature Christine Day, Patricia Hall, Anastasia Le-Roy and Shericka Williams.

Jamaica will also be represented in the women's sprint medley relay (12:15pm) with Le-Roy, Natasha Morrison, Patricia Hall and Natoya Goule set to compete.
