PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania:

Outstanding Wolmer's athlete Jaheel Hyde added to his bulging medal cabinet after winning the High School Boys 400m hurdles Championship of America title title at the 2014 Penn Relays at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field today.

Hyde, running in Heat 2 of the timed final, raced to 51.13 seconds to finish ahead of countryman and World Youth Champion Marvin Williams, 51.49, from St Elizabeth Technical and Rai Benjamin, 52.72 from Mount Vernon in New York.

In addition to winning the 110m hurdles at the IAAF World Youth Championships last year, Hyde has also copped both the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles at this year's ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships and Carifta Games.
