KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Olympic 200-metre champion Allyson Felix has withdrawn from tomorrow's IAAF World Challenge Jamaica International Invitational meet, where she was down to face World champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica.

The American sprinter, according to a release submitted by meet organisers, has pulled out due to injury.

Earlier this week, Jamaican sprinter Nickel Ashmeade and British 400-metre specialist Christine Ohuruogu, also both pulled out because of injuries.

Ashmeade was slated to participate in the men's 100-metre dash, while Ohuruogu was one of the headline acts for the women's 400 metres.

The meet will include many international track and field superstars such as Justin Gatlin, Nesta Carter, Felix Sanchez and World indoor shot put gold medallist Ryan Whiting.
