IAAF Jamaica Invite: Fraser-Pryce turns back American challenge to win 200m

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

The world’s top female sprinter Jamaican Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce beat a strong field to take the women’s 200 metres at the Jamaica International Invitational at the National Stadium tonight.




The World and Olympic champion turned back the challenge of Americans Kimberly Duncan, 22.61, and Jeneba Tarmoh, 22.69.



Anneisha McLaughlin was fourth in 22.72.



Jamaican Rasheed Dwyer took the mens' equivalent in 20.53 ahead of American Curtis Mitchell, who clocked 20.54.
