KINGSTON, Jamaica:

The Jamaican Bar Association has joined in condemning the murder of prominent Trinidadian prosecutor, Dana Seetahal.

Authorities in Trinidad say her murder is a contract killing and the Jamaican Bar says it hopes that the authorities will be relentless in bringing the killers to justice.

The association further says Seetahal's death is an unfortunate reminder that all stakeholders must take very seriously all threats and related acts of violence against the Judiciary and attorneys-at-law.
