KINGSTON, Jamaica:

The commanding officer for the West Kingston Police Division has renewed his appeal for residents to expose gangsters creating terror in their communities.

Senior Superintendent Steve McGregor made the appeal following Tuesday night’s murder of three more people in West Kingston.

He has also sought to assure residents that there are safe ways to contact the police such as through Crime Stop at 311 or www.tipsubmit.com.

Police detectives have released the names of three men they believe can help with an ongoing investigation.

They are: Gratiano Green, otherwsie called 'Bebe'; Kemar Cole, alias 'Flex'; and Ryan Bembridge, otherwise called 'Little Blacks'.

The men are being asked to contact detectives at the Denham Town Police by 5 p.m. tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the police say intelligence gathered so far indicates that Tuesday night’s attacks were gang-related.

They say 20-year-old Garrel Bravo of Upper Regent Street was shot dead on Race Course Lane because he allegedly disobeyed gang orders to return items he robbed earlier this week.

The police say the subsequent murders of Kevin Black and Vernon Vanzie alias 'Bubba' appear to have been revenge killings.

The men are also believed to have been associated with rival gangs in West Kingston.
