The National Works Agency (NWA)is advising motorists and pedestrians that several intersections in Montego Bay, St James, will be temporarily reduced to single lane use over the weekend.

The intersections to be affected are Alice Eldemire Drive and Bogue Road, Barnett Street and Fairfield Road and the Alice Eldemire Drive and Howard Cooke Boulevard.

Two other intersections that will be temporarily closed are Catherine Hall Drive and Howard Cooke Boulevard and Coconut Drive and Alice Eldemire Drive.

The single lane use of the intersection will begin at 8 o’clock tomorrow evening and continue until 6 o’clock Monday morning.

The NWA says the changes are to facilitate the excavation and laying of cable ducts by the NWA and Sierra Support Services Group.
