Man shot and killed by police in Waterhouse

A fourth man was shot and killed by the police in Waterhouse, in south St Andrew this morning.



His identity has not been released.



According to INDECOM, the police report that two policemen were on foot patrol in the community when they attempted to accost three men.



It is reported that there was a confrontation and one of the men was shot and injured while one of the policemen received injuries to his face.



The injured man was later pronounced dead at hospital.



Some 46 persons have been killed by the police since the start of the year.
