Met Service projects increased rainfall for Wednesday and Thursday as trough approaches Jamaica

The Meteorological Service says there will be a significant increase in showers and thunderstorms across the island on Wednesday and Thursday as a trough, currently across the central Caribbean, moves across the island.
The Met Service says the trough is expected to move across the island on Tuesday and is likely to be west of Jamaica on Wednesday.
It says fishers and other small craft operators should be cautious as they are likely to experience gusty winds and choppy seas in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms during this period.
