Student stabs schoolmate at Ardenne High

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Principal of the St Andrew-based Ardenne High School, Nadine Malloy, has confirmed that a student was stabbed by a schoolmate at the institution yesterday.




However, she declined to give details on the incident.



She said the school’s administration would be dealing with the matter.



It was alleged that a female student stabbed another female student in the neck with a knife.



The condition of the injured student is unknown.



The Half-Way Tree police was unable to confirm if a report had been made or if a student has been taken into custody over the incident.



The police there said they were unaware of the incident.
