KINGSTON, Jamaica:

A security guard had to be rushed to hospital this morning after allegedly being robbed and pushed into a gully along Molynes Road in St Andrew.

The man has been identified as Vivian Graham, who works at the Edith Dalton James High School in Kingston.

Scores of onlookers converged at the scene this morning.

It is unclear when the robbery happened.

However, a man who operates an establishment on the bank of the gully said he had been told the man had been crying for help since last night.

Meanwhile, an administrator at the school confirmed that the man was rushed to hospital and that they are awaiting word on his condition.
