A late night search for the Montego Bay twin bothers swept away in this afternoon's flood rains has turned out unsuccessful.

The boys were on their way home from school this afternoon when they went missing in Green Pond.

Glendon Harris, the mayor of Montego Bay, says initial accounts indicate that one of the boys fell from a rail into a gully and was being assisted by his twin brother when he too was swept away.

Harris says fire officials and residents have been combing the area for the missing boys since late this afternoon.
