With the regional Carib Beer Cup on a four-week break, Jamaica will begin preparation for the rich Stanford 20/20 on Thursday at Sabina Park.

The 13-man squad will depart for Antigua on February 4, for the opening game against Bahamas on February 6.

Coach Junior Bennett said the selectors would have to make a decision regarding Gayle.

Jamaica has taken sole leadership of the Carib Beer Cup, after defeating Guyana by eight wickets inside three days.

Jamaica moved to a perfect 36 points, 12 ahead of second place Barbados on 24 points.

Guyana remained at the bottom of the standings without a point.

The match between Leeward Islands and Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) is heading for a non-result.

Soggy conditions continued to prevent a resumption of the third-round game. T&T are 178 for four.
