Investigators are expected by tomorrow to charge a man who has been in custody, for more than a week, in connection with several murders in Rockfort, East Kingston.

Police have still not released his identity.

The police in Bedward Gardens, August Town, St. Andrew captured him last Sunday.

Commanding officer for the East Kingston police division, Superintendent Assan Thompson said charges are to be laid as soon as investigators finish questioning the man.

The police believe the man is the main suspect in the killing of seven persons in October last year.

He is the fourth person to be detained in connection with the murders.

On October 5, gunmen invaded sections of Rockfort and shot seven persons including two children.

Three of the persons were killed on Norman Road in Norman Gardens, close to the Mountain View police station.
