Grenada’s Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Mitchell said his ruling New National Party (NNP) is in trouble after three terms in government.

Addressing party supporters at a political convention on the weekend, the NNP leader stated that the party needed to recapture popular support to remain in office.

Dr. Mitchell’s comments come amidst a rapid increase in support for leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Tillman Thomas, who wants to replace him.

The Prime Minister\'s Press Secretary, Barry Collymore also conceded that seeking a fourth term would not be easy, bearing in mind the recent election loss of Mr. Owen Authur, in Barbados last month.
