Authorities in Antigua are closer to finding out what led to the death of Agriculture Minister, Charlesworth Samuel, whose lifeless body was found on a north coast beach recently.

An autopsy was carried out yesterday, but authorities are to release the results to the general public.

The police have confirmed that a coroner’s inquest was also convened yesterday and was adjourned. However, no date was given for the resumption of the Inquest.

The government announced that the late Agriculture Minister would be buried on February 19.

He will be accorded a state funeral and laid to rest in his home village of Swetes, following a service at the Antigua Recreation Grounds.
