While it's not a woman's purse, which is hallowed and prohibited ground for a man to peer/search into, the male grooming kit does have its own importance.

First off, just because you have one doesn't make you a metrosexual or the dreaded 'g' word with three letters. The attitude of Jamaican men at home and abroad continues to evolve in terms of paying attention to their appearance; going to the spa regularly is not as taboo as it once was. Similarly, a compact grooming kit simply means you are a man who makes sure your appearance is always up to par.

Remember, the appearance is what will first attract the woman to you. Whether you're a moron or not, well, she'll figure that out later. Flair asked some gents who are always well groomed, just what's inside that kit.

Devon Reid - sales and marketing manager, Caribbean Producers Jamaica Ltd

The grooming kit I take when I am travelling is compact and includes: lint remover, nail clippers, electric shaver, shaving cream and after shave lotion, cologne and deodorant, small scissors and skin lotion made from collagen.

Trudane Hardware - sales and PR executive, Royal Plantation/Flair's Most Eligible Bachelor for 2009

In my travel/grooming kit: condoms, keys, BlackBerry charger, toothbrush/toothpaste, Bora Bora cologne, Old Spice deodorant, mini mouthwash, Ipod, Phillips Norelco Smoother/Shaver.

Andrew Price - Marketing Manager at J. Wray and Nephew/Coach of Boys' Town Football Club

With my busy schedule, I definitely need a grooming kit. I am called upon to attend a lot of functions each evening after work, but I also conduct training sessions at Boys' Town, so a grooming kit is essential in my lifestyle.

My grooming kit includes:

Degree deodorant, Johnson & Johnson Vanilla, Oatmeal body wash, Cetaphil lotion, Issey Miyake cologne, toothbrush and toothpaste, Wahl Sniper to trim beard if necessary, sewing kit for accidents.

Lambert Sanford - operations administrator with Continental Automotive Corporation

He lives in Alabama but when he travels to Jamaica or goes out of town on business or to football matches with his son, his grooming kit has all the essentials.

In my grooming kit I carry the following items:

Visine eye drops, deodorant, razor blade, toothbrush and paste, Q-Tips, nail clip, nasal allergy spray, band aid, eye lubricant, mouthwash, mints, lotion, soap, Vaseline, shampoo and dental floss.
