Finance Minister Audley Shaw and his opposition counterpart Dr Omar Davies will this week participate in the 2010 post-Budget forum hosted by the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) with its partner, Deloitte.
The forum will be held Thursday at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel in St Andrew under the theme 'Fiscal Reform: Challenges and Key Success Factors'. Registration begins at 8 a.m. on the day, with proceedings commencing at 8:30 a.m.
Shaw and Davies will share in an open discussion about issues facing the economy and the society at large.
"The post-Budget forum will allow Jamaicans the ideal opportunity to interact simultaneously with Minister Shaw and Dr Davies about topics facing the economy for the upcoming fiscal year," stated a joint release from the JCC and Deloitte.
"This event promises to be engaging and you will also have the opportunity for a 'one-on-one' discussion with Minister Shaw, Dr Davies and the other notable presenters."
