A day in the life of an American family who come together to put a beloved husband and father to rest. As mourners gather at the family home, shocking revelations, festering resentments, ugly threats, blackmail and a misdirected corpse unleash lethal mayhem.

Death at a Funeral is an American ensemble black comedy and a remake of the 2007 British film of the same name. The less than three-year gap between the original and this film marks one of the fastest remakes of an English language film in modern Hollywood history. Unlike its predecessor, this features a largely African-American ensemble cast, with Peter Dinklage reprising his role as Frank from the original.

Also included in the cast are Chris Rock (I Think I Love My Wife/Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa), Martin Lawrence (College Road Trip/Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins), Tracy Morgan (Cop Out), Danny Glover (2012), Regina Hall (Law Abiding Citizen/Scary Movie), James Marsden (27 Dresses/X-Men), Zoe Saldana (Avatar), Loretta Devine (Crash/This Christmas), Columbus Short (Stomp the Yard/This Christmas) and Luke Wilson (Legally Blond).
