Baggage Allotment business class: Between Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, two pieces of checked-in baggage weighing 32kg (70lb) with maximum dimensions of 62 inches, and one carry-on of 10kg (22lb) or 45 inches in dimension. Within the Caribbean, two pieces of checked-in baggage of 23kg (50lb) and dimensions of 45 inches and one carry-on of 10kgs (22lb) and 45 inches in dimension.

Economy class: Between Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, two checked-in baggage not more than 23kg (50lb) and 62 inches in dimension. Within the Caribbean, one checked-in baggage at 23kg (50lb) and 62 inches, and one carry-on 10kg (22lb) and 45 inches in dimension.

All checked baggage must be within Caribbean Airlines guidelines of a maximum weight of 50 pounds in economy class or 70 pounds for business class between Canada/USA and the Caribbean, with total maximum dimension of 62 inches. Additional charges will apply for overweight and excess baggage.

Carry-on baggage: The carry-on piece must be able to fit under the passenger seat or in the overhead compartment. Bags exceeding 32kg (70lb) and more than 62 inches in total dimensions (length+ width+height) must be shipped via cargo. Boxes will be accepted in lieu of checked-baggage allowance provided they do not exceed the size or weight of the check-bag allowance. Baggage in excess of those allowed will be accepted for transportation only, subject to the availability of space.

Allowances for children: Children for whom the fare is 90 per cent of the adult fare will be granted baggage allowance on the same basis as a passenger paying the adult fare. Infants under two years (without a seat) are allowed one free piece at 50lb/23kg on all routes, plus one collapsible stroller or pushchair, or an infant carrying basket, or a car seat, may be carried on-board, subject to the availability of space.

Extra-Baggage Charges

Articles of baggage in excess of 50 pounds will only be accepted for transportation subject to the availability of space. Baggage exceeding 32kg (70lb) and/or over 62 inches in total dimensions) must be shipped via cargo.
