Emil George, the Queen's Counsel, who became most popular as the chairman of the Manatt-Dudus Commission of Enquiry has died.
George, also a former Senator, died this morning at the Medical Associates Hospital in St. Andrew.
It's understood he had been battling cancer for some time.

Christopher Bovell, a partner at DunnCox where George had been a senior partner and consultant, said the company regrets his passing.
Bovell says George had been a great asset to the firm and to the legal fraternity.
