Jennifer Edwards, the president of the People's National Party (PNP) Women's Movement, has urged Clarendon women to ensure that Portia Simpson Miller is returned as Prime Minister.
Addressing Comrades at a PNP mass meeting in South West Clarendon, Edwards, told the women to not only take other females to the polling stations but men as well.
"If women go out to vote, the PNP will win," Edwards said.
She said the PNP has been at the forefront of several legislative advancements for women.
"Remember if it wasn't for the PNP we wouldn't have been where we are today, if it wasn't for the PNP you wouldn't be getting the education you are enjoying today," Edwards said from the platform in Race Course community.
"Remember where your bread has been buttered," she said.
