Mayor of Falmouth Colin Gager says the Trelawny Municipal Corporation is working to resolve drainage issues which have left a stench blanketing the town.

The section from Market Street to Duke Street is considered to be the main problem area.

Mayor Gager says there have been reports that persons may have connected sewer lines to the drainage networks.

He says the local authorities have not confirmed this.

However, he says the Corporation is weighing several options to resolve the issue.
