Several roads in the eastern parish of St Thomas have been rendered impassable as a result of flooding caused by heavy overnight rains.

The St Thomas police have advised motorists that the Port Morant main road is impassable for small vehicles in the vicinity of the square.

They say the alternative route is via Land Top.

The police also say small vehicles will also find it difficult to pass traverse the Bowden main road due to flooding.

Hordley crossing in Golden Grove is also impassable for small vehicles at this time.
