The National Meteorological Centre is reporting that there is a Tropical Wave east of Jamaica.

According to the Met Centre, the system is expected to influence weather conditions as it moves across the island later today.

It says the forecast is for widely scattered showers and thunderstorms across most parishes later this afternoon with into tonight.
