Jamaica's Danniel Thomas-Dodd finished just outside the medals in the women's shot put at the 16th IAAF World Championships in London.
Thomas-Dodd the first Jamaican woman to reach a World Champs final, placed fourth with a throw of 18.91 metres throw on her fifth attempt.
The event was won by Chinese Lijiao Gong with a 19.94 mark.
"I'm happy," said Thomas-Dodd on Television Jamaica.
"I'm already thinking about next season and some of the things that we can do to improve. For me to come out here and to improve on what we have been doing all season, I am happy," she said
