The National Water Commission (NWC) says it’s working to restore normal service to customers in Hellshire, St Catherine, by 4 o’clock this afternoon.
It says the disruption in service is a result of a broken water main in the Hellshire area.
The NWC says some customers in the area are without water while others are experiencing low water pressure.
The company says while it’s working to restore service by this afternoon, it will have to fully suspend water supply at 9 o’clock this morning to facilitate the work.
It’s urging customers to store water for use during the period of disruption.
Areas Affected are the Hellshire communities of Upper forth A & B, Johnson Hill, Edgehill, Seaforth, Sandy Hill, Sandhill Vista and St Georges
