The Parade Ground at Up Park Camp was the scene of pageantry and colour on June 10, 1967, as the annual Queen’s Birthday parade took place. Their Excellencies, the Governor-General Sir Clifford Campbell and Lady Campbell, and Prime Minister Hugh Shearer, headed the gathering of distinguished people who attended. Hundreds of people from all walks of life were also present to witness the skilled displays by The Jamaica Defence Force and Constabulary
