Olympic champion Hansle Parchment had to settle for third in the men's 110 metres hurdles event at the Monaco Diamond League on Wednesday.
Parchment, who pulled out of the Commonwealth Games final last week as a precautionary measure, got his usual slow start but still ran a season's best time of 13.08 seconds.
The race was won by World Championships' winner Grant Holloway of the United States of America (USA) in a season's best 12.99 seconds while second went to his compatriot Trey Cunningham in 13.03.
