The Old Harbour Police in St Catherine have launched a search for a gunman who shot and killed an unidentified man along West Street yesterday.

Reports are that at about 5:15 pm, the victim was walking along the roadway in the vicinity of the Kaluga Café when he was approached by a man who brandished a handgun and shot him repeatedly.

The injured man was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries.
