Man charged with murder of ex-girlfriend at Crystal Towers Apt remanded
Phillip Brown, the 35-year-old construction worker charged with the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Kerry-Ann Wilson, was remanded when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court today.
Brown, shared a home at the Crystal Towers Apartment on Old Hope Road, St Andrew with his ex-girlfriend with whom he had just ended a relationship.
He is now being represented by attorney Anthony Williams.
Williams has asked the court for disclosure of Brown's files so that he can make a bail application on February 3 when his client is scheduled to reappear.
The court has indicated that copies of the file will be ready on Monday.
Wilson's body was found wrapped in a tarpaulin on a bridge near her apartment on Saturday, December 10.
It appeared that she had been beaten to death.
Brown was arrested the following morning after he surrendered to the Half-Way Tree police in the company of his relatives.
