NWC working to restore water supply in parts of Montego Bay

The National Water Commission (NWC) says it is working to restore operations at the Catherine Mount #2 and Porto Bello Deep Well facilities in Montego Bay, St James following damage to motors at both locations.
The disruption is affecting water supply to customers in Porto Bello, Montego West Village, Westgate Hill and surrounding communities, according to a statement on Monday.
The NWC said its maintenance team was working to resolve the issue.
Areas affected include Porto Bello, Montego West Village, Westgate Hill, Appleton Hall, sections of downtown Montego Bay and nearby communities.
