Billed as easy to use and convenient, patrons will be able to buy tickets online by logging on to www.palaceamusement.com with any Internet device and simply retrieve the tickets, with a few simple steps, at kiosks in the cinemas.

Marketing manager Melanie Graham says this move is meant to empower patrons in this digital 21st century, where Palace Amusement continues to embrace innovation and fully engage the evolving demands of its patrons.

Our Online Ticketing is a smart product designed to benefit our patrons and add value to the movie-going experience. "We have launched our Online Ticketing at our flagship Carib 5 and Palace Cineplex in Liguanea, to be followed by Palace Multiplex in Montego Bay."

According to Graham, although the company anticipates a smooth learning curve with its tech-savvy clientele, a 'How to' programme has been designed and staff trained to assist patrons with the process, which involves purchasing a ticket for a specific cinema, date and time, printing, or saving a barcoded receipt on a mobile device and retrieving the ticket at the cinema, by scanning the barcode or swiping the Palace card used to make the purchase. Transactions will incur a service fee of $100. All ticket sales are final.

Box-Office Service

The company's box office will still be available for ticket purchase as well as value-added Palace cards.
