All you can eat with Jack Daniel's
There's no barbeque like a Jack Daniel's Southern Style Back Yaad Bar-b-que, the original and still the best.
On Sunday, August 20, the UWI Mona Visitors' Lodge will be transformed to host this premium all-you-can-eat event from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
"We recognised that they're hardly any high-quality, all-inclusive food events at affordable prices, so two years ago, we fashioned Jack Daniel's Southern Style Back Yaad Bar-b-que. This event is not your everyday, regular cook-out, but a prestigious barbeque that features a plethora of restaurants that offers the best of the best," Kitwahna Vassell, Supreme Events director.
"We are grateful for the support and tremendous growth. we moved from featuring five restaurants in the past to over 10 this year in just two years," Vassell added.
"Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ) is once again on board as our main sponsor. They saw our vision and ran with it. They've decided to incorporate their Jack Daniel's Whiskey into our event and I mean, what's a barbeque without Jack Daniel's? We have a few signature dishes that the whiskey has been integrated in to add flavour and trust me, they taste amazing," said Vassell.
Jack Daniel's is a smooth, easy-drinking Tennessee whiskey that is distributed locally by CPJ. According to Kemmar Lewis, category brand manager, spirits and brews, "every barbeque needs whiskey but not any whiskey, Jack Daniel's Whiskey. We're happy to be on board with our whiskey. it's a very versatile product that can be enjoyed in food and by drinking responsibly, of course. Jack Daniel's is synonymous with barbeques, so we didn't hesitate to support the Supreme team's Back Yaad Bar-b-que. We're also happy to be introducing our Corona Extra beer to the patrons as well."
In its fifth staging, the Jack Daniel's Southern Back Yaad Bar-b-que, will feature food from Chris Gayle's Triple Century, CPJ Foods, Smokehouse Bar & Grill, Truck Stop, Soup King, Yummy Bakery, Pizza Please, and many others.
Admission to the premium event is only $3,500 and tickets are available at all featured restaurants and online at firstinlineja.com.
"Back Yaad Bar-b-que will be an evening of relaxation with delicious food but I'm encourage everyone to come out early for the food and stay for the after-party. Jamaica's best disc jocks, the 'party animal' DJ Kurt Riley, X-factor sound system and Bishop Escobar are ready to get the party in full swing. With great food and great music, it's a guarantee that you'll have a great time," Vassell assured.
