Rib, Roast and Rum - Summer Edition

In-house chefs Romaine Messam and Sasha Gordon collaborated to create a charcoal-grilled pork with roasted corn, utilising the CPJ Mesquite BBQ Ready To Cook Pork.

Tomorrow, August 25, marks the last Friday in the month of August, and the end of summer for us on the island.

The team at Knott Francis Eventures wants to end the summer on a high note with the sizzling summer edition of Rib, Roast, Rum & More at the Grillin Pit on the corner of Argyle Road and Musgrave Avenue in New Kingston.

Backed by their loyal sponsors The Gleaner (Media) Company Limited, Caribbean Producers Jamaica, Appleton Estate, Lifespan, Conceptual Lighting and Audio, Kremi, Pure National, Dacameron Printers, Phase 3, The LAB, and new comers Excelsior, the event is sure to exceed the expectation of their patrons.

For only $5,000 presold, guests can enjoy an array of meats and sides from the endless buffet, as well as drinks from the Appleton Estate-sponsored bar. Some of the menu items include their signature Appleton-infused BBQ Ribs and Honey BBQ Pigstail. Not to mention the crowd favourite, KFE Signature jerked chicken, and a variety of fish options for the vegetarians who want to indulge.

CPJ has come onboard to partner with the organisers by showcasing their ribs, Kielbasa and Chorizo sausages for the event's Oink Oink and Slider stations.

After all that heat, patrons will be treated to frozen novelties by Kremi Ice Cream and entertainment in the form of a gaming station provided by Game Party.

KFE wants patrons to come for the food but stay for the music as Elevate Entertainment and King Taj promises to keep their ears entertained and feet tapping throughout the evening as they juggle hits from the early '80s to present day.
